An enemy to Jesus and the fervent Christians. It was Christ's covenant, yet now the time was his. He was the soul of Moses, and Moses was his soul. The foolish king acted against the path of God. He severed those two divine harmonizers. The master said: Remove the foolish one. Take out that fragile glass from the covenant. The fool asked: Which of those two glasses am I? Shall I bring myself to you? Explain fully. The master said: No, those aren’t two glasses. Put aside foolishness and do not seek beyond. He said: O master, do not mock me. The master said: Break one of those two. When one shatters, both vanish from sight. A man becomes foolhardy from passion and rage. There was one glass, but to his eyes appeared two. When he broke the glass, it was no longer there. Anger and lust twist a man’s heart into folly. They transform steadfastness of the soul. When desire arrives, true art is concealed. A hundred veils arose from heart to sight. When the judge gives the heart a bribe as peace. Who can tell the oppressor from the bitter victim? The king, burned by bigoted envy so deeply, He became foolish, crying out: 'O Lord, protect me!' He killed hundreds of thousands of innocent believers.
