But if the seeker drinks, he becomes lost in darkness deep. Lord, grant me from Solomon’s own wisdom. Do not give this kingdom’s hand to anyone but me. Do not bestow this grace and generosity on others but me. This was envy, but that was something else altogether. He calls the forbidden point to life. My secret is beyond his stingy heart, don’t consider it. Indeed, in the kingdom, he saw a hundred dangers. Murmurs spread in the kingdom of the world, full of grim fear. Fear of the head, fear of the secret, fear of faith intertwine. There is no test like this for us. So Solomon must possess the resolve, the might. To pass beyond these hundred thousand hues and scents. With the very power that he himself possessed. The waves of his kingdom closed with a breath. When he sat, this circle of sorrow fell away. He showed mercy to all the kings of the world. He became an intercessor and spoke of this kingdom and banner. Grant with perfection what you’ve given me. Whomever you grant your kindness to, and bestow your grace. He is Solomon, and I am someone else too. After him, it is not he, it is I who remain. What was ‘I’? I am here without claim or boast. It’s a complex explanation to unfold, but I— I return again to the story of man and woman. 📜 Source (گنجور): https://ganjoor.net/moulavi/masnavi/d... 🕊️ Produced by Echoes Of The Soul 📅 Generated on 2025-11-18 21:50 ❓ Which line of this poem touched your heart the most?
