Say, what is this particular cause, for I have a purpose behind it. The lion said, 'What dwells within this?' Within this fortress, one is safe from calamities. The wise choose the depths of the well. For in solitude, the heart finds its purity. Darkness of the well is better than the darkness of the people. One who clings to the steps of others will not lift their head high. He said, 'Come closer, for my wound is victorious over him.' You see, that lion is present within the well. He said, 'I have burned with that fire.' Unless you draw me closer to your own embrace. That I may, on your back, O source of generosity, Open my eyes to gaze into the depths of the well. 📜 Source (گنجور): https://ganjoor.net/moulavi/masnavi/d... 🕊️ Produced by Echoes Of The Heart 📅 Generated on 2025-11-12 22:24 ❓ Which line of this poem touched your heart the most?
