TOPIC: AM I TRULY GENEROUS? First Reading: Isaiah 55: 10-11 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 65: 10, 11, 12-13, 14 Second Reading: Romans 8: 18-23 Gospel: Matthew 13: 1-23 Matthew 11:25-30 invites us to be compassionate and generous like our Father in heaven. The sower in the parable is God, who generously scatters the seeds, symbolizing God lavishly sharing His blessings and the good news of salvation to everyone and everywhere. God cannot be outdone in generosity because of His unconditional and compassionate love to each and every one of us, regardless of race, nationality, background, status, or circumstances. This is the 1189th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
