TOPIC: WOULD I GIVE UP EVERYTHING OF THIS WORLD FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN? First Reading: First Kings 3: 5, 7-12 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 119: 57, 72, 76-77, 127-128, 129-130 Second Reading: Romans 8: 28-30 Alleluia: Matthew 11: 25 Gospel: Matthew 13: 44-52 Today’s gospel Mt 13:44-52 invites us to be radical in pursuing for the kingdom of heaven. To take the mindset that the kingdom of heaven is more precious than everything that we have and possibly acquire in the entirety of our lives. Jesus invites us to give up everything of this world for the kingdom of heaven. This is the 1198th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Israel Silud as he brings us today's reflection. All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
