🩸 DAY 2 – Dominik Mysterio def. El Hijo del Vikingo (c) Singles Match for the AAA Mega Championship Event: Worlds Collide: Las Vegas Promotion(s): WWE, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide Brand(s): Raw, SmackDown, NXT Date: September 12, 2025 City: Paradise, Nevada Venue: Cox Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center ✨ NOTE FOR DECEMBER We’re not ranking these — just showing our favorites from 2025. I’m not giving you a definitive best. I’m not Dave Meltzer. This is just the stuff me and Aurora vibed with the hardest. 📖 WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MATCH This whole match was beautiful, chaotic nonsense. Dirty Dom walked out to cheers so loud he looked confused. Vegas was chanting his nickname like they were at a football game. Vikingo? Booed by most of the crowd, with only a few diehards cheering him. The bell rings and the shenanigans start almost instantly. Vikingo hits a 450 splash early and ALMOST wins it — Dom kicks out at two. Before Vikingo can keep the momentum, Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh run down to the ring, even though Finn was supposed to be dead from earlier. JD nails Vikingo with a headbutt → Dom hits a Michinoku Driver → Vikingo STILL kicks out. Balor then passes a foreign object so Dom can load his mask. Before he can headbutt Vikingo, the champ hits a superkick that nearly knocks the weapon out. Dragon Lee charges down to even the odds. Judgment Day beat him down because, well, they cheat at everything. Rey Mysterio storms the ring with a chair and beats the hell out of Finn & JD. Rey and Dragon chase them off, leaving Dom and Vikingo to finish it on their own… supposedly. Vikingo hits a 630 senton and easily had a 10-count victory… …but the referee gets yanked out of the ring by El Grande Americano. Dom gets back up, hits the classic trio: dropkick → 619 → frog splash but the ref is still dead. Backup ref slides in — 1, 2… Vikingo kicks out. The crowd loses their mind. Vikingo rallies: • head kick • poison rana • tries to unmask El Grande Americano EGA, always dirty, slides a foreign object into the ring. Dom loads his mask again. Jumping headbutt → Frog Splash → 1… 2… 3. Dirty Dom wins the AAA Mega Championship. Then the most disrespectful moment of the night: Dom forces his dad, Rey Mysterio, to strap the belt around his waist. Rey is fuming. Dom is smirking. Judgment Day celebrates with him, and El Grande Americano gets a big hug like he’s the MVP of cheating. 🔥 DAY 2 SUMMARY DAY 2 – Dominik Mysterio vs. El Hijo del Vikingo (Worlds Collide: Las Vegas) Not a ranking — just one of our favorite matches of 2025. A complete circus of interference, chaos, comedy, drama, and high-flying insanity. Dirty Dom stealing the AAA Mega Title was pure entertainment.
