Just the matches me and Aurora loved this year.” Match Recap — Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk The WrestleMania 41 Night 1 main event brought together three worlds colliding: Roman Reigns — The Tribal Chief Seth Rollins — The Visionary, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk — the returning rebel, escorted by Paul Heyman This match was chaos from the opening bell. Punk hit a double DDT on both men early, then nailed an elbow drop on Rollins. Reigns fired back with his usual power, cracking Punk with a Superman Punch for a nearfall. Punk countered the Spear, Reigns countered the GTS, and Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice on Roman — but Rollins broke it with a frog splash that crashed the ring. Reigns hit a Spear on both Punk and Rollins in succession. He went for another, but Rollins caught him mid-charge with a Pedigree and followed with the Stomp, nearly finishing him. It turned into a chain reaction of finishers: Punk hit GTS on Reigns Rollins hit Pedigree on Punk All nearfalls All surviving Nothing was enough. Rollins tried convincing Roman to briefly reunite to eliminate Punk. For a moment, the crowd thought they’d see a Shield Powerbomb. Instead, Reigns betrayed him and hit a solo powerbomb on Punk straight through the announce table. Then another powerbomb on Rollins through the second table. Inside the ring, all three collapsed after a sequence where: Punk hit GTS on Rollins Reigns Speared Punk Rollins bounced off the ropes and Stomped Reigns mid-motion All three men laid motionless as the stadium roared. Heyman Betrays Everyone In the closing moments, Heyman slid a steel chair to Punk… but before Punk could use it, Heyman hit Punk with a low blow, betraying him. Heyman then handed the chair to Reigns. Reigns smashed Punk repeatedly. He lined up Rollins for the final shot — a callback to Rollins’ betrayal 11 years earlier… AND HEYMAN LOW BLOWS REIGNS TOO. Crowd loses their minds. Heyman hands the chair to Rollins this time. Rollins cracks Reigns with it, hits the Stomp, and covers. 1… 2… 3. Seth Rollins wins the WrestleMania 41 main event. Aftermath Rollins, Punk, Reigns, and Heyman brought the chaos straight into Raw — a violent brawl that saw Bron Breakker join Rollins and Heyman’s new alliance.
