The sky will remain cloudy over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, north Haryana and Punjab. Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh along with Tamil Nadu and Kerala coast will also be cloudy. It will be partly cloudy over Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bihar. North India will receive light showers, mainly in few parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rain intensity will decrease drastically over east India. The hilly areas of Andhra Pradesh and Assam may receive light to moderate rain.In central India, Orissa and south Chhattisgarh is expected to receive mainly light spells. Andhra coast including Rayalseema may receive some light showers. North India-The temperature is expected to be marginally low in Jammu & Kashmir. In Uttar Pradesh temperature may rise due to subdued rain activity.The mercury will remain near normal in rest of the country. East &North East-Temperatures in Bihar and east Arunachal Pradesh is likely to increase. Temperatures may drop after 24 hrs in the Gangetic belt of West Bengal and Jharkhand, where temperatures have been above normal by 2 to 3 degrees. North East will continue to enjoy below normal temperatures due to rain. CENTRAL-In central India, temperatures may drop marginally over Orissa and Chhattisgarh. On the other hand, Gujarat and west Madhya Pradesh will continue to remain hot. SOUTH-Temperatures in Tamil Nadu and Rayalseema will remain below normal by a few notches. The mercury may come down marginally in Andhra coast, as rain is expected here.
