One of the most exciting charts that I play is the great In A Mellow Tone chart arranged by Oliver Nelson for the great Buddy Rich Big Band.I`m so happy as a drummer Big Band leader to bring these great charts back to life again in my concerts.This features the amazing Tom Parmerter on lead trumpet. As a drummer driving the Big Band and setting up all the hits,I must thanks these wonderful musicians who always give 100% to the music.As a band leader,I can`t ask for anything more.It`s always about the music first and I`m sure Buddy would be happy a drummer is leading a swinging Big Band and playing some of his charts.Lets keep Big Bands alive and well!
