One of the great arrangements done by Oliver Nelson of this Duke Ellington song"In A Mellow Tone" is a great way to start off a club date. This features my lead trumpet player Tom Parmerter. I get to drive the Big Band with my classic Slingerland drums to swing the arrangement in an exciting way.
