StormTrack 8 Morning Forecast August 31, 2016

Good morning! A cold front moved through the Quad City area while you were sleeping. As this boundary slips south, drier air will work into the region. Still, a few showers will be possible in Southeastern Iowa and Western Illinois, mainly along and south of US-34. As we go into the afternoon, skies will become mostly sunny with a comfortable high temperature around 82 degrees. Tonight will be quite the refresher with overnight lows in the 50s! We'll be sunny and 75 on Thursday, perfect taste of fall! The weekend will be mainly dry. However, by Labor Day, we could have a few thunderstorms around.
