Clouds will overspread the area late tonight into early Friday morning but the rain will stay away. Temperatures on Friday will start around 61 degrees with a rise to the upper 70s for the afternoon. A few showers and thunderstorms will be around for the late-afternoon and evening. Some much-needed rain will continue into the wee hours of Saturday. Clouds will remain pretty thick on Saturday through lunchtime. Then it's onto the sunshine.
