Sunny skies will rule the roost today! A southerly wind will boost temperatures just a few degrees, but it will remain very comfortable. Look for highs around 81. Clouds will overspread the area late tonight into early Friday morning but the rain will stay away. Temperatures on Friday will start around 61 degrees with a rise to the upper 70s for the afternoon. A few showers and thunderstorms will be around for the late-afternoon and evening. Some much-needed rain will continue into the wee hours of Saturday. Clouds will remain pretty thick on Saturday through lunchtime. Then it's onto the sunshine. Sunday will be the pick day of the weekend with highs around 85. 90s are likely beginning Monday, lasting into the Labor Day Weekend. -Meteorologist Eric Sorensen
