Level 8 (2nd Quest) Short Walkthrough Method #2 - The Legend of Zelda Second Quest 100% Walkthrough

This video shows only what is necessary to beat Level 8 while also getting the dungeon's key items. To see a complete walkthrough of this level where I go into every room & grab everything there is to get then see the video linked down below. As with all dungeons in this game it's not a bad idea to have a potion on hand. Furthermore, if you have not already done so, I recommend that you get the Magical Sword & the Blue Ring. You can find videos showing the locations to these upgrades as well as the locations of all Bomb & Potion Shops linked down below. This method shows how to beat this Level if you have at least 1 Small Key prior to starting. If you don't have any Small Keys then you can take the slightly slower route through the Level (which can be seen in the appropriate video down below). You'll need food & 100 Rupees (for the Bomb Capacity Upgrade). Make sure to have several bombs on hand as well as there are quite a bit of Dodongo. Additionally because 1 of the groups of Dodongo respawn if you get taken by a Wallmaster, you'll risk having to fight those Dodongo again. When fighting Dodongo make them eat a bomb, pause for just a short moment, then drop another. The idea is to have it blow up to stun the Dodongo rather than for it to be eaten. This way when you kill the Dodongo with the sword it will likely drop bombs. If you get hit by a red bubble on your way to the Wallmaster room that leads to the Magical Key (or if you get hit by a red bubble in said Wallmaster room) then use the key to get to the room on the left where the Moldform are then just pop back into the Wallmaster room to touch a Blue Bubble. Side Note: You don't actually need your sword to beat this level. Important things in this Level: Magical Rod (0:25): Get the Wallmaster room south of some Dodongo. Kill them all then push the middle block on the right to reveal the stairs that lead to the Magical Rod. Mini-Boss - Dodongo #1 (3:00): Use the method I recommend up above for taking out the Dodongo. These are the Dondongo that respawn. Magical Key (3:51): To the left of the Wallmaster room is a room with several Stalfos. Kill them all then move one of the left blocks to reveal a staircase. Go down the stairs for the Magical Key. Mini-Boss - Aquamentus (5:35): At this point Aquamentus should be a snap. Bomb Capacity Upgrade (5:56): The Old Man that sells the Bomb Upgrade can be found a couple screens to the left of the Aquamentus. Boss - Dodongo #2 (6:34): You know what to do.
