Level 3 (Second Quest) Walkthrough Method #1 - The Legend of Zelda Second Quest 100% Walkthrough

This video shows how to beat Level 3 in the Second Quest as well as how to get everything in this Level. As with all dungeons in this game it's not a bad idea to have a potion on hand. Furthermore, if you have not already done so, I recommend that you get the White Sword & the Blue Ring. You can find videos showing the locations to these upgrades as well as the locations of all Bomb & Potion Shops linked down below. For most of the levels in this game I do 2 walkthroughs: the complete version where I show everything that can be gotten in that level & the simple version where I only get the necessities. Because the simple version is almost identical to the complete version I opted to not do that for this level. Having said that there are still 2 methods I show to beat this level. The primary difference is in how many Small Keys I have at the start of the Level. In this version I have 2 Small Keys while in the other version I have only 1 Small Key. You must have at least 1 Small Key at the start to beat this Level, but I recommend having 2 as it cuts down on the backtracking. In addition to at least 1 Small Key you'll need to have Food in order to beat this Level (see below for help). Important things in this Level: Map (0:29): Found on the floor in the room with the Blue Goriya Magical Boomerang (1:04): In the northmost room from the starting point there are a bunch of Red Goriya. Kill them all for the Magical Boomerang. Boss - Dodongo (1:47): In the room northeast of the starting room are some Dodongo. Kill them by dropping 2 bombs in front of each Dodongo so that they eat the bombs or by stunning them with the bombs & slashing them with your sword. Compass (2:07): Found in the room south of the Dodongo.
