Thursday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Windy, scattered rain and mild temps

Today's Cleveland weather conditions will have us feeling more like spring than winter with potentially record-breaking high temperatures. But it also comes with some strong winds with gusts up to 55+ mph and scattered rain. “That could produce power outages," 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano said. "We could see damages from these kinds of winds.” As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning and Wind Advisory in multiple counties across the region. With high temperatures topping 60 degrees, Strano also said we'll be in record-breaking territory. “We could very well have a new record," she said. "We could tie the record. We’re expecting 62 at Hopkins. 63 is the record high for this day. We should be at 37. I would imagine we’re going to have new records to report in areas outside of Hopkins.” As for the rain, it won't be an all-day soaker. "We get into the afternoon and we could even see some breaks in the cloud cover as we’re in the 60s," Strano continued.
