Trans America Trail - Day 23 | Solo Overlanding Adventure in my Jeep Wrangler TJ

Day 23 : Lake Tahoe & Yosemite Park Another nice day on the road. I kept going south and merged on Highway 395 which crosses ALL California from top to bottom. Definitely a faster pace even though the Jeep can barely do the speed limit on these hilly/mountain roads. But i get more time to enjoy the scenery 🙂 I went around Lake Tahoe ... on a Saturday afternoon. Bad ... VERY bad timing. It was insane !!!! People, cars, traffic... It is a beautiful lake though. So I kept going and made it to Yosemite National Park and found a nice campground at the bottom of the Park I didn’t go to the park per say: no need to climb all the way up, pay $60 for Park and campground just to leave early in the morning. Ain’t nobody got no time for dat !!! Anyway, today is day 24 and I sure shouldn’t get use to smooth pavement as that should stop soon: I should reach the South West part of the Trans America Trail (TAT) this evening. Dust, here I come 😉 To be continued...
