Trans America Trail - Day 24 | Solo Overlanding Adventure in my Jeep Wrangler TJ

Day 24 : Back on the Trans America Trail !! This is it !! After 3 days on the road, the smooth ones, and going south-East, I finally made it back on the Trans America Trail (TAT) !! The South West part of it. The final road to get there, Highway 395, was becoming quite boring. But the TAT started quite roughly: sand, dust, rocks, ditches ... a nice welcome back gift basket 😊 And the end of the section 13, Barstow (California) was .... hmmmm ... quite interesting. Definitely not a good vibe going on here 😳 And the campground I found was 50 meters from main interstate highway. I could see the cars lights from the Jeep !! Really not a big fan of KOA campgrounds. But they’ll do in a pinch ... Anyway, glad to hit the road today, day 25, hopefully to a nicer place for tonight and going through some nice trails 😎 To be continued...
