Top Chinese Aerobatic Team Bayi Rehearses for Zhuhai Air Show

China's Bayi aerobatic demonstration team on Saturday began their rehearsal for the Zhuhai Air Show that will open on Nov. 1 in south China city Zhuhai. The Bayi aerobatic demonstration team from the Chinese Air Force began the training with exercising one of the team's iconic aerobatic stunts, extremely low-altitude flying in the formation of triangle. The stunt requires the pilots to have high fly skills and the abilities of quickly reacting to emergencies and acting in perfect unison with other teammates, according to the team members. "We have been maintaining and configuring our aircraft and other equipment to the best status over the past few days. On the other hand, we have been working meticulously to refine every set of stunts that will be performed," said Wang Hongyan, senior pilot, Bayi Aerobatic Demonstration Team. The training lasted for around 17 minutes with all the Jian-10 fighter jets completing the their maneuvers as required. The team has sent to Zhuhai its strongest ever lineup of pilots for the air show. In addition to the six jets which were assigned with aerobatic stunts performance, the team has also arranged a Jian-10 fighter jet to be displayed in the exhibition zone for visitors to observe the jet in close range.
