The 12th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) kicked off, with the Bayi aerobatic team of the Chinese Air Force soaring to the sky in Zhuhai, south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday. About 770 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions are showcasing their latest advancements in the aerospace industry at the Chinese biennial air show. More than 100 aircraft made by major aeronautic and space companies from around the world are also displayed at the show. China will unveil its GJ-2 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a medium- and high-altitude, long-endurance reconnaissance-strike drone, which has played an important role in border patrol and the anti-terrorism fight. This year's Zhuhai exhibition will also showcase the Y-20, a versatile transport aircraft, which is designed to carry cargo and personnel over long distances in complicated meteorological conditions. Airshow China is the country's biggest event for aircraft makers and buyers. The show has been held in Zhuhai every two years since 1996. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20181106...
