Six J-10 fighters conducted 22 sets of impressive and demanding maneuvers including formation changes, dives, continuous rolls, loops, flips and cobra turns, with the dazzling smoke trails adding bright luster to the sky over the outdoor venue during a 30-minute flying demonstration after making their appearance at Tuesday's opening ceremony. Initially founded in 1962, the August 1 Aerobatic Team was renamed 25 years later after the PLA's founding date, which falls on August 1 - the Chinese Army Day.
