03/27/66 Miss Linda Maclin was chosen as the new Miss Roanoke for 1966-1967

(ROLL FILM) Last night at Northside High School Miss Linda Maclin was chosen as the new Miss Roanoke (TAKE FILM) for 1966-1967. The winner was chosen over 11 other girsl in the annual pageant. She was crowned by the reigning Miss Roanoke Valley -- Miss Judy Chase. The pageant -- sponsored by the Roanoke Junior Womans Club -- is the official local preliminary to the Miss Virginia Pageant -- annually held in Roanoke in mid-summer. The theme for last nights pageant was Parisian Passports. Once again--the new Miss Roanoke Valley is Miss Linda Maclin.
