In this video, coach Diwesh goes over a modification to a common thoracic spine mobility drill. A commonly performed T-Spine mobility drill is the Side Lying Open Book. While this is a great drill, we often see it performed incorrectly. A modification for this drill that we like is what we call the Side Lying Rib Roll. The Side Lying Rib Roll is a fantastic modification to this classic mobility drill because: ✅It really forces the athlete to move through just the thoracic spine ✅It doesn’t allow for the athlete to cheat the range of motion by cranking through the shoulder joint 👊🏻Was this helpful?
