Monday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Downpours & humidity today in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Monday, July 29, 2024. We had the heat around over the weekend, but now we're going to add some truly tropical humidity as a pattern change arrives today. Expect dewpoints to rise quickly this morning bringing that heavy, tropical feel to the area by afternoon. This will help to fuel showers and storms throughout the day with tropical downpours possible in localized areas. Highs today will stay on the lower side with the clouds and rain chances. We're expecting low 80s for highs. Tonight, rain will back off with a muggy night expected as lows drop to near 70. We do it all over again on Tuesday with a mix of clouds and sun and pop-up showers and storms. Highs will push the low to mid 80s Tuesday. We should get a break from any storms Wednesday before multiple rounds of storms are expected to move in beginning late Wednesday into Wednesday night and carrying all the way through the upcoming weekend. There will be many dry hours in between, but we'll have to keep an eye on the radar later this week as any of these rounds of storms could be strong to severe. It will remain warm and muggy all the way through Sunday before some brief relief is possible. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Turning much more humid.
