Radio-Play Comics - Grant Morrison's Invisibles: Volume 3

It's 1999, the new aeon nears, and the Outer Church plans to coronate the moonchild monster from the mirror as the new king and have an archon descend into it to rule the future. Division X is hot on their trail, however, and the Invisibles will come back together after a year apart to try and thwart their plans. We'll find out more about Sir Miles when he's kidnapped by Mr. Six's cell and paid back for his time with King Mob in Room 101. Then Edith must say goodbye to life in Karmageddon, after first touring De Sade's new erotic paradise, and King Mob must then process his feelings about it. Then it's time for the big finale, Jack versus the king archon at the turn of the millennium and everyone's coming to the party at Westminster Abbey. The final issue is set in 2012, right before and including the apocalypse, and it's quite a show, one you'll see when we get there. Grant was designing the world of 2012 back in 1999, and of course it's insane. He thought the word Meme was going to be like a multiple personality complex kids would adopt, the subcultures continuing to fracture at faster rates until personality itself was a moot concept. So keep that in mind when you see it. Each volume kinda stands on its own as does each video, you can jump in anywhere since the story is told all over the place and time at once and keeps constantly changing, it's sort of broken into half hour episodes due to the nature of monthly comics. Anyway, I urge you all to try it out, jump in here and see what happens. The comic is pure chaos, but I tried to make some order out of it and I added a lot of text explanations in this one to demystify the Morrison weirdness. I don't want people leaving this with questions, as many people failed to understand the comics. That's a big part of why it's fallen by the wayside as history rolls on. But it's as good as Sandman, and sold as well at the time.
