Drum Solo By Ken Loomer

This was my big 60th birthday drum solo that I did on my 44 year old Slingerland drums that I bought way back in 1971.Never knew back then I would have my own Big Band and still be playing on these classic Slingerland drums. This was my big birthday concert that I did with my Big Band at the COPA club in Sarasota ,Florida. These Slingerland drums I bought at Sam Ash Music in New York City back in 1971 and they still have the perfect sound for me. This is the Buddy Rich Slingerland model 80N. This has the 24 inch bass drum,9x13 small tom,two 16x16 floor tom, and the famous 4x14 BR model snare. I even use all the original hardware that came with this drumset. Now that I`m 60 years old, I still have the same love of playing these drums and I think playing better now then when I was 20.
