Thursday's extended Cleveland weather forecast: Pattern change on the way to Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Thursday, October 10, 2024. It's a frosty start to the day for some as temps dropped into the upper 30s for many locations away from the lake last night. We'll do it again tonight with frost advisories issued for the majority of Northeast Ohio. Widespread frost and temps dipping down into the mid to upper 30s is expected as we head into your Friday morning. If you have plants you'd like to keep -- you'll need to cover them up or bring them in. Expect sunshine with a few lake clouds during the day today with highs recovering into the low 60s at best. We'll warm further on Friday with highs pushing the low 70s. By the weekend a storm system will spin up over the area, bringing increasing rain chances Saturday and scattered rain on Sunday. The low will strengthen and move east on Monday, bringing a gusty wind, much cooler temps and widespread lake effect showers. It will remain quite cool and damp Tuesday into Wednesday. In other news, Hurricane Milton made landfall last night. Click on the link for the latest. Milton will continue to head out into the Atlantic and we're expecting weather to finally quiet down for Florida over the next few days. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Mainly sunny. Near 60. FRIDAY: Some clouds late. Warmer. Low 70s. SATURDAY: Increasing clouds, PM rain develops. Upper 60s. At 3News, we’re here to share your voice and tell your story.
