StormTrack 8 Morning Forecast June 14

We are in store for another hot and humid day. Daytime highs will reach the low 80s once again. Today will be similar to yesterday in the sense that we will be seeing a mixture of dry and wet hours. We will stay dry mainly in the morning and afternoon, though we cannot rule out a light scattered shower. The bulk of the rain and showers will move in during the evening hours. As we head into tonight, we could see an isolated storm turn severe. The main threats will be damaging wind, heavy downpour and hail. With all of the extra rain we've seen these past few days, flooding is going to be an additional risk. The wet weather will continue into the work week as well, leaving us with another soggy week ahead. Meteorologist Kelsey Woodard
