Ken Loomer Drum Solo-Love For Sale-Ken Loomer Big Band

This of course is the famous arrangement of Love For Sale that Pete Myers did for the Buddy Rich Big Band. I wanted to do something a little different so I decided to do my feature drum solo on this classic arrangement. I`m playing on my BR Slingerland drumset that I bought in 1976.No way that I ever thought that one day I would have my own Big Band playing on these great drums.Thanks to the excellent musicians in my band,they did an outstanding job of playing this swinging chart. Taking the alto sax solo is Rodney Rojas,followed by Tom Parmerter on trumpet. The tenor sax solo is by Tom Ellison. I never know what I`m going to play on my drum solo,so I just feel how the people are reacting to what I`m playing and just go for it.
