Senator Boxer Responds to Vote on 90-Day Stop Gap Extension of Transportation Programs (3/29/12)

Senator Barbara Boxer, Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, commented on Senate action this afternoon to pass the House of Representatives' 90-day stop gap extension of transportation programs before the March 31st deadline. Boxer has worked with her Senate colleagues to pass a bipartisan two year bill, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21), and vowed to keep the pressure on House Republicans to pass a bipartisan transportation bill.
