GOD IS STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF ANSWERING PRAYERS Monday 02nd September 2024 Revelation 5:3-4 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. There is something about the tears of men who long to see the wonders and justice of God. Every tear that drops and flows out of the depth of your soul is never in vain, heaven takes notice of them. (Psalms 56:8) If you have been genuinely crying and calling on God to see His glory revealed whether in your home, church or nation, don't lose heart, heaven has recorded your tears and soon you will walk in the manifestation of your answers. Sometimes life makes it feel like we are disadvantaged for knowing Jesus and looks like the wicked are prevailing but the tears of the saints will always move God to render judgment in favour of saints just like in the days of Daniel. Daniel 7:21 Psalms 65:2 O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come. Prayers and tears that flows from a heart that is meek to the will and purpose of God will always find recognition in heaven. (Hebrews 5:7) Do not loose heart because you do not see the results of your prayer, keep holding onto your faith and believe that He is a prayer answering God because He who promised is faithful. Throughout scriptures, there are numerous examples of men and women who took advantage of this grace of prayer, called on God and He changed their lives and destiny; Luke 1:5-13 Zachariah and Elizabeth were very old, even far beyond the child-bearing age and it looked like God had forgotten them . As Zechariah was interceding for Israel, God showed up and answered his prayers. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 Jabez insisted in prayer and God answered him. He showed us that you can change your life by engaging the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob in prayer. Genesis 32:24-28 Jacob engaged God in prayer and one night as he was wrestling with Him,God touched him and changed his name. 1 Samuel 1:10-17 Hannah watched her co-wife dropping children one year after another for ten years but when she engaged God in heartfelt prayer, she broke the power of barreness and brought forth a child. Esther 6 Esther showed us that even when the things are already set, they can be reversed as long as it's not God. A genocide was reversed because Esther chose to engage God in heartfelt prayer. Daniel 2:18-19 Daniel was about to go down with the wise men, astrologers and witches in the days of Nebuchadnezzar but when He and his friends desired the mercies of God, that night the king's dream was revealed to them. Acts 12:5‐9 Paul and Silas were cast into prison but when they lifted up their voices and prayed to God, at midnight, there was an earthquake and all the doors were open. All these men engaged God on their knees and He changed their lives. Wherever you are, I encourage you to take responsibility and pour your heart before the Lord, don't let Him go until He changes your life, destiny and everything around you.
