This is the course material for the 4th lecture of the Hands-on Workshop on Prostate Cancer. A Master Class of the International Cancer Imaging Society held in Nov 2021. https://www.icimagingsociety.org.uk/ The learning objectives of this 4th module on next-generation imaging in advanced prostate cancer are: 1. To recognise the central role of bone and CT scans for directing patient care despite their acknowledged limitations 2. To become familiar with the potential uses of next-generation imaging (multiparametric WB-MRI and PET/CT (multiple tracers)) in the different APC states 3. To learn that NGI introduces biases that need to be taken into account when discussing potential benefits 4. To acknowledge that higher-quality evidence on management & outcome impacts is needed if there is to be clinical acceptance & payments for NGI services
