Karate | Kihon-Ippon-Kumite Green Belt Examination (6th Kyu, DKV)

In this video, we demonstrate the #Kumite (partner program) for the green belt (6th Kyu) in #Shotokan #Karate in the German Karate Association (DKV). All attacks are executed once forward to the left and once forward to the right. The defender should make evasive movements both straight back and sideways. The Oi-Zuki Jodan attack is blocked with Age-Uke, the Oi-Zuki Chudan attack is blocked with Soto-Ude-Uke, and the Mae-Geri Chudan attack is blocked with Gedan-Nagashi-Uke. The counter is always Gyaku-Zuki Chudan. The attacker performs Kiai on the attack, and the defender performs Kiai on the counter.
