National Police Service Commission dismisses 302 police officers for non-compliance

302 Police officers have been struck off the police service for refusing to cooperate with the National Police Service vetting board. The officers neither appeared in person nor provided the requisite documentation to facilitate their vetting. The affected officers who were serving in ranks ranging from senior inspector to coporal, will receive their dismissal letters from the Inspector General of police in the coming days. And as Achola Simon reports from Kisumu County, the officers have an opportunity to appeal the action taken by the national police service commission.
