Trevor Lawrence – #1 Pick Looks the Part – Kurt Warner Rookie QB NFL Preseason Tape Episode 1 of 2

A lot of things to like about Trevor Lawrence. I thought he got better and better as he went through the preseason. When he knows what he’s doing, this kid can rip the football. Hope you are enjoying the StudyBall of the rookie quarterbacks after the preseason. We will see how this translates into the regular season. I’ll tell you what, I’m getting excited as we lead up to opening night. Cowboys against the Bucs getting this season started. I am not sure when I’m going to bounce back to these rookie quarterbacks. We hit on them a couple times here in the preseason. Now it’s time to go for the vets. The guys that we know are going to be playing good football. I can’t wait to break down the regular season. But before we do that we have a couple days left. We are going to take a look at the number 1 overall pick and what I have seen from him in the preseason. Not everybody comes out in the first game and lights the league on fire. He struggled a little bit early against Cleveland. Got better by going 11-12 against Dallas for his last preseason game. I like the way that he is trending. That happens...it takes some time. But you are seeing some of the things that he does well. And I think Jacksonville has to stay within his wheelhouse. When he knows what he’s doing, this kid can rip the football. We will come back tomorrow and take a look at some of the things that he has got to do better. Because we know he will be the starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
