ELDEN RING enjoyer tries DARKS SOULS II (Playthrough Part.6)

Unfortunately I did not notice that the microphone was acting up acting up. You are more than welcome to skip to 01:35:41 where it's fixed. I truly was surprised by how many Pursuers I had to fight at The Lost Bastille. You would think that I would have gotten better, same here. But some of them were cramped in such small spaces that I couldn't do my hit and run tactic. Occasionally somebody even pulled out some new moves on me. I don't really know why a Pursuer randomly appeared at the tutorial area when I was coffin hopping. Or was I wrong to assume that they are limited to The Lost Bastille area? That whole Bell Keeper gang gave me the giggles with the way they mobbed me. I was having flashbacks from first episode when those little piggies gave me so much trouble. Props to the main guy for having a fitting and funny voice for his character. Made me wanna join the Bell Keepers. Who's bright idea was it to give me PTSD with those Gargoyles? And why were there so many? If not for the amazing damage of the Guts sword I would definitely have been toast. I did notice though that the fire breath attacks were not covering as wide of an area which allowed me to do Guerrilla tactics on these fellas. They were attacking much swifter than their predecessors from DS1. Leveling up health proved to be a worthwhile investment. I am still salty about the fact that somehow the game didn't open up that second hidden wall for me when I was searching all the walls for it. It always feel stupidly humbling whenever you have to look something up, because you can't figure it out yourself. I have to say that I did like the old strike wall with weapon way of opening hidden walls better. This new press open + walk forward doesn't seem to always work and I fear that I might miss a lot of content because of it. I did find it cool that I got to rematch Flexile Sentry by myself. But dang, who knew that water could impede your agility so much in this game? Also speaking about bosses, who the heck was The Lost Sinner? Supposedly he was one of the Old Ones by the words of Emerald Herald. But there was no real build up or lore surrounding him. He just felt like another random boss encounter. Although, I was shaken by the fact that the game offered me 2 summon signs before the fight. He was quite swift and I had a hard time keeping up with his movements in the dark surroundings. The coffin at tutorial area was kind of a let down since I expected to get transported to some new area. But nevertheless it was quite a funny surprise to notice what had changed about my character amidst fighting the Pursuer again. Turns out it was easier to traverse Harvest Valley's poisonous cesspit than I expected. And it turns out that our lonesome dealer Gavlan didn't find it to be much of a hurdle as well. I hope I meet him in some amusingly horrible places in the future as well. P.s. - I am not quite sure how far in the game have I progressed, but my levels are rapidly going up. I fear that I am becoming way to OP again.
