First things first, in my opinion Blighttown was not as bad as it's reputation. I remember how I was dreading the time when I will eventually have to clear that notoriously annoying area. One could say I was well equipped for the task, fair enough. But in terms of hostile mob attack patterns or placements it felt a lot easier to traverse than the stressful paths in Catacombs. There you had to fight off reanimating skeletal warriors while trying to unlock contraptions, dodging exploding doom heads and manoeuvring through spike trapped statues just to figure out where the necromancer is. Onto a matter of more importance. Repenting for eradicating Quelaag's whole lineage aside is there any way how to bring somebody back from the dead? And regretfully in conclusion. I can't remember a time when a game has pulled a fast one on me so many times in a row as when I was trying to catch those Crystal Lizards in the Great Hollow area.
