Former BJP leader and Union Minister under the Vajpayee government joined the Trinamool Congress ahead of the crucial West Bengal polls. Sinha said that democracy is under threat in the country and added that BJP under Modi is not the same as the BP under Vajpayee. ‘There is no one to stop the government's wrongdoing. Atalji believed in consensus, this government believes in coercing. Atalji believed in co-opting, this government believes in conquering,’ Sinha said.
