We do not expect any player to lateral slide for this great a distance in live action. We only introduce the ladder to gain comfort and accountability for the next progression. 2. Ladder Conductor - One partner stands outside the ladder pointing left or right; this is the conductor. The partner on the ladder, with resistance bands, is to slide in the direction of the conductor as quickly as possible. The conductor is encourage to change directions often and quickly. 30 second intervals. 3. Ladder Mirror - The partner outside the ladder is the leader. He lateral slides, changing speed and direction as often as he likes. The partner within the ladder is attempting to mirror his movement and beat him to spots. 30 second intervals. 4. Mirror Resisted - Once each partner has shown an ability to maintain proper footwork, remove the ladder and let them go at it. Determine who the leader is and set the clock. 30 seconds intervals.
