Although not as historically groundbreaking as Van Halen I, this album remains at the stop of the list of most Van Halen fan's rankings. It is my personal favourite Van Halen Album. I feel like the band proved themselves on Van Halen I and this album showcases them enjoying their success and just having a good time. There is an atmosphere of a care free live off the floor party going on in the studio. This is Van Halen in their absolute prime.
