Cross, EB, Mic Release Combo👉 Jump Rope Tutorial (notes in description) #jumprope
The Cross, Swing, EB Cross, Mic Release combo is an awesome combo that I cover all the time during my coaching calls with jumpers! Here’s what you need to know: As you do that first Cross the hand that is underneath is going to drop down to your side for the Side Swing. Don't switch this up. Make sure the hand that is underneath in the cross goes down to your side! That hand then goes behind your back into the EB Cross. If you do that all correctly it's going to be very smooth! Once you jump the EB don't throw your hand out to the side super suddenly. Instead, think of taking your EB hand and resting it right on your hip. Then wait for the rope to come up at your shoulder and let go and do the Mic Release. If you stay patient at this part of the combo it'll be a lot easier to keep your control during the Mic Release. Jump slowly and watch your hands to see what's happening. And take a lot of video so you can recognize what's going really well and what needs to be adjusted!
