Yet, Faith and LGBT Communities can learn to see each other as allies who share common ground, as well as common membership. Come learn and contribute to this intriguing conversation about how we all can embrace our diverse and overlapping sexual, gender and faith identities. Timothy Kane creates safe space for authentic dialogue and empowering communication regarding personal identities, individual strength and community success. Through the lens of diversity and inclusion, Timothy invites audiences to embrace their role as servant-leaders and agents of constructive social change. With over 20 years’ experience working with international communities, Mr. Kane uses an interactive and outcomes-oriented presenting style to educate and advocate regarding the intersections of gender identity, sexual orientation and faith. Timothy is currently the Associate Director for Inclusion Initiatives at The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC where he directs the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center and oversees GW Religious Life.
