Police Chase Escaped Prisoners in Stolen Truck (02/09/93)

Salado, Texas February 9, 1993 This is not a movie, this is real footage taken from a camera mounted inside the patrol car of a Texas State Trooper, chasing two escaped convicts in a stolen truck. Before the chase is over, speeds will exceed 100+ MPH and both the suspects and the police will go offroad on more than one occasion. Increasingly worried that the convicts would rampage into another town and endanger more innocent lives, the trooper takes drastic action. He opens fire, wounding the driver in the leg.
