It`s so wonderful for me as a drummer to lead a Big Band. I got to see in person drummer Big Band leaders like Buddy Rich,Mel Lewis,Louie Bellson,and Gene Krupa. I leaned from all of them how to always give 100% to the music and be a leader that musicians want to work for. So many times in small clubs like this, I got to see these drummer band leaders up close and personnel. It was always so exciting to hear their bands perform.Here I get to feature so many of my outstanding musicians on this great Woody Herman chart"Things Ain`t What They Use To Be".
