Asian-Style Quinoa Fried "Rice" - Quick & Easy | Vegan If you're a fan of fried rice like we are, you may want to try a healthier, lower carb alternative - quinoa fried rice. For best results, we use white quinoa instead of the red or tri-coloured variety as it's softer and fluffier- more rice-like. We usually cook the quinoa in advance and buy mushrooms in bulk, slice them up and freeze them so they’re ready to go when needed.
