You're Never Over [A Jick/Joick Love Story] Episode 1

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!:) Thanks to everyone who read the intro and subscribed and thanks ForeverLastALifetime for being my first commenter:) Okayy, This is the first episode! Tell me what you thing:P Please read the intro if you didn't! --- Nick "You worthless little brat!" I recoiled at the sound of his thundering tone. "Where the fuck were you!?" Another blow to my face. I winced in pain and just as he was about to hit me again...I woke up. I jumped up in a cold sweat, my breathing was harsh and heavy, making my throat dry. My eyes glanced toward the clock, and seeing that it was 5:30, I decided i'd might as well get up and get ready for school. I stood up, frowning when i realized i now had a Massive, pounding, head ache from jerking up so fast when i woke up. Sighing, my body dragged itself into the bathroom to prepare for my first day at my new highschool. It's not THE first day of school, but it's MY first day of school. I moved here, by myself, last week, finally escaping,well,...him. I try not to think about him, though. I keep telling myself it's over, I got away, it's a new start, but those words seem empty and i catch myself drifting back to early two weeks ago when i was being beaten to a pulp. I shook my head, not trying to get lost in those meomories. I'd rather not have that on my mind today. Turning on the shower, i stepped in, letting the warm water wash away all my traces of sleep, hoping to have it wash away what that nightmare left behind. Those dark meomories... I winced, feeling the water run across my week-old bruises which were finally starting to fade, but not enough to wear a short sleeved shirt...I don't want anyone noticing. At School Nick got off of the bus, glancing up at the school he'd have to finish his senior year in. It was a small school, not alot of students. He looked over his shoulder noticing people staring. Was it that obvious that he was new? Nick's eyes went from the curious eyes to the pavement as he walked inside the unfamilliar building. Not knowing what to do, he clutched his bag which slung over his shoulder and bit his lip, searching the crowded halls for the front office. Once he dumbly realized it was right infront of him, he headed towards it, ignoring the stares that were thrown by everyone he walked pass. What the hell are they looking at? He asked himself wearily, but then perced his lips when he noted that he WAS the only one in a long sleeve shirt and hoody, something that was meant to be worn in the winter, or fall, not now in the middle of may when the sun was beaming down on you, and the temperatures were starting to get humid... He hoped no one would suspect he was hiding horrible bruises. Nick stood at the door, ready to open it when it swung open from inside. The door WHOPped him in the face, knocking him onto the floor. He clutched his hand over his nose and used the other to clutch the back of his head. You'd think all those curls would have cushioned the fall. "God, man, are you ok!?" A guy asked, bending down next to him. Nick nodded his head quickly, not wanting to cause a commotion of his now bleeding nose, and his throbbing head. "No your not. Jeez," He grabbed Nick's hand, removing it from his nose to see the damage. "I'm sorry. I'll take you to the-" "N-no, it's fine," Nick pulled his hand away from the guys grip and put it over his nose to hide the embarrasing mess. "I'm fine." He flinched, remembering how many times he'd said that before, knowing it was lie. Knowing he'd been being abused. "No, c'mon...I can't leave ya." The guy pulled nick up and smiled apoligetically. "I'm Joe." He gave Nick a tissue and escorted him to the nurses office. As Joe left Nick, he looked back again, furrowing his brow. Weird kid, he thought. Noting Nick's outfit, wondering why he was dressed the way he was on a sunny day like this. But then he smiled. Joe couldn't help but notice how pretty Nick's eyes were. eh, i know it was boring.
