Classic TV Theme: Love & Money (Full Stereo)

Rob Long was the producer of this 1999 sitcom about a mismatched pair: the doorman's son and the daughter of a wealthy family that lived in the top three floors of the building. Their relationship and the disparate status of their families was the series' focus, but CBS was impatient and cancelled 'Love and Money' after just five episodes, with the eight remaining consigned to sitcom limbo. The jazz piano theme is by Bruce Miller, a composer who went to high school just a few miles away from my then home. Miller furthered his music studies at Detroit's Wayne State University, as did yours truly. He's had a successful musical career...and that's where the coincidences end.
