Classic TV Theme: Fish
A spin-off from 'Barney Miller', 'Fish' (1977) had Abe Vigoda's character taking retirement from the squad to care for five troubled kids who needed supervision. But 'Fish' floundered, and after 35 episodes the show was cancelled. Vigoda continued to drop-in at the 87th Precinct from time to time. In one appearance he revealed that the city ran out of money for the group home and took back the kids. He mentioned that one of them got pregnant, and another got arrested. The theme is by 'Barney Miller' composers Jack Elliott and Allyn Ferguson (Elliott loses a 't' in the credits).
