Without understanding what the Witnesses believed at specific times several misunderstandings about the Nazi period appear in the documented record. After reviewing documentation from the Scholars, and Nazi Archives, it is easy to see how this Jehovah's Witness whitewashing of the history leaves many unanswered questions.
