Ingredients: 1 Sugar cube 3 Dash(es) Peychaud's Bitters 2 Ounce(s) Rye whiskey, preferably Buffalo Trace or Sazerac 1/4 Ounce(s) Absinthe, Herbsaint, or Pernod Lemon twist Directions: 1. Fill old-fashioned glass with ice. 2. Muddle sugar and bitters in second old-fashioned glass. 3. Add whiskey and stir. 4. Discard ice from first glass. 5. Add absinthe to chilled glass, swirl to coat inside, and discard excess absinthe. 6. Pour whiskey mixture from second glass into chilled glass. 7. Twist lemon over drink, but do not add to glass. Serve in an Old-Fashioned Glass.
