DAYTON -- The community outrage is still simmering surrounding the fatal shooting death of John Crawford by Beavercreek Police. A group is planning to protest outside the police station tomorrow. Beavercreek Police officials initially told us the department had no idea a protest would be taking place. They have now alerted all personnel working Saturday to be prepared for a crowd. On the heels of an impressive turnout at Thursday night's Walmart vigil, community activists are gearing up for round two. "We have the same frustrations and anger that's happening in Missouri but be have to find some strategic way," Organizer and Wright State student Tristina Allen explained on Friday. The method, a march and silent protest outside the Beavercreek Police Department "We're gonna have duck tape around our mouths the tape that say release the tape. We want to make it apparent this isn't to cause trouble or violence. We just really want the tape," Allen explained. Friday organizers held a meeting to map out logistics, which will be an important element of tomorrow's protest. There are no sidewalks on the street bordering the police station which could create safety concerns as people are walking from the street to the police department. Beavercreek Police Captain Eric Grile provided the following statement: "There will be no issues as long as the department is able to conduct business as usual." Organizers say the goal is to put pressure on the department to help the effort of releasing the surveillance video
